Nightcap hotels experience, a brand that offers everything the guest needs to eat, drink, play and stay, all at an affordable price.
The buffet is back – and that’s reason alone to make The Watermark Glenelg your destination of choice when visiting Adelaide’s western suburbs.
A much-loved institution since the hotel’s opening back in the early 2000s, the buffet was forced to make way for its a la carte cousin when Covid-19 struck. But with the situation easing, the plan is to reintroduce it around mid-2021, again swinging the doors open to a smorgasbord of some of the finest and freshest seasonal produce in town.
While it’s sure to heave with winter comfort food, diners can expect longstanding favourites such as the carvery, the enormous salad bar, the Asian food spread and a dessert section to die for to again feature prominently.
But it’s far from the only reason to head to The Watermark as those with more specific tastes will find an a la carte menu brimful with fresh fish, vegetarian and vegan options, woodfired pizzas, steaks grilled to perfection and every kind of pub grub.
Then there’s the indoor and outdoor bars, including a sports bar, along with The Watermark’s accommodation options. These have proved to be another significant drawcard, especially since the November 2021 major refurbishment transformed its 15 rooms into contemporary designed spaces in a location that is arguably second to none.
The studio rooms, either with a queen bed or queen and single, come with a private en-suite featuring a walk-in shower, a bar fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, a flat-screen TV and free wi-fi; while the three-bedroom apartment accommodates up to six guests and in addition, offers a full kitchen and bathroom, as well as a spacious living room.
At the end of the day, it comes down to The Watermark’s Nightcap experience, a brand that offers everything the guest needs to eat, drink, play and stay, all at an affordable price.
