Seacliff Beach is the perfect beach to hire a stand up paddle board or just watch the sunset from the Seacliff Hotel.
The Seacliff coastline has numerous user-friendly foreshore parks and reserves. Most have large, grassed areas that are great for picnics and are equipped with BBQ facilities, playgrounds and public toilets.
For one of the best views of the Holdfast Bay coastline, head north to the Kingston Park Coastal Reserve and lookout. It is also home to Tjilbruke Springs monument which commemorates the Aboriginal Dreaming story associated with the freshwater spring. It has been bubbling away for thousands of years in the sand just above the sea’s high-water mark.
For the more active, Stand Up Paddle SA provide boards for hire and lessons if you are a beginner or just want to refine your technique.
The Seacliff Beach Hotel has been a destination for food and ice cold drinks since 1935 and the perfect spot for a family meal, an ice cold drink, or simply relax and watch the beach from one of the bars or cafés.
