The West Lakes Golf Club, formerly the Riverside Golf Club (1951 – 2011), has undergone significant changes over the past few years including a name change, clubhouse renovations and course improvements.
Riverside Golf Club emanated from the Woodville Gardens Golf Club which commenced in 1934 but was forced from its location due to the post war building boom in the late 1940’s. Riverside itself was not born until 1951 when the present site was turned from wasteland to the beginnings of the course we know today.
Many changes and improvements have been made over the years with the most recent redesign of the course completed in early 2011, resulting in a tight and challenging Par 70 layout of 5632 metres.

Westward Ho Golf Club (Adelaide Shores)
After a major face-lift in 1998 the Patawalonga Course is now flourishing with beauty. It was voted one of the best public courses in South Australia because of its championship links style layout. The mature trees and many water hazards present a real challenge to even the most competent golfers.
With large undulating greens (the average green size is 750 square metres) surrounded by numerous bunkers, the Patawalonga Course will certainly leave you with some great golfing moments.
Executive 50 Course - “Good things come in small packages” and this certainly is the case for the Executive 50 Course. It is suited to beginners and those just looking for an enjoyable golfing day out. The par 50 course features five par 4s and ten par 3s all winding their way around the links style fairways.
Even for the most experienced of golfers your iron play will be tested and when the afternoon sea breeze picks up you will truly be amazed at the difficulty of this little course.
