Smile | Interact | Wonder
The Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary is the only place in the world that has wild dolphins living in the city!
The dolphins around Adelaide are friendly and informative – just like the locals!
The Adelaide Dolphin Sanctuary has a 10,000 year old mangrove forest that lies within the Port Adelaide River and is home to about 30 wild bottlenose dolphins with 300 that come to visit them regularly. You can take river cruises to interact and see these playful creatures swim, dive and if you’re lucky, tail-walking.
Beautiful to watch, interactive and playful, our dolphins swim the coastline and interact with people from Seacliff to North Haven. Take a tour and watch them from your boat or get up close and go swimming with them.
